Spring Roll





Spring roll is a vegetable preparation. It is a fried dish so high in calories. You can increase the quantity of chilies to make it more spicy and hot.

Ingredients we will need for this recipe:

Spring roll wrappers : . . . . . . . . . . four

French beans : . . . . . . . . . . . 50 grams

Onion (pyaj) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . one

Garlic paste (lasoon) : . . . . 1 tea spoon

Cabbage (patta gobi) : . . . . . . . . 1/2 cup

Carrot (gajar) : . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . one

Capsicum (simla mirchi) : . . . . . . . . one

Green chilies (hari mirchi) : . . . . . . 2 to 3

White pepper powder (safed marchi) : 1/2 tea spoon

Soy sauce : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 tea spoon

Barbecue sauce : . . . . . . . . . . . 1 tea spoon

Refined flour (maida) : . . . . . . . 1 table spoon

Ajinomoto : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1/4 tea spoon

Oil for deep frying

Salt (namak) as per your taste

Heat oil in a pan and fry finely chopped onions till just transparent. Now add garlic paste, very finely chopped green chilies and white pepper powder. Fry for a minute and then add chopped french beans, long cut cabbage, carrots and capsicum. Cook for a minute and add soy sauce, barbecue sauce and ajinomoto. Cook on slow flame till vegetable is done and dry.

Place this cooked vegetable in one edge of a spring roll wrapper, which is readily available in the market. Roll it tight and stick the end with refined flour mixed in little water. Also stick ends with refined flour to prevent vegetables, coming out from sides. Now deep fry this roll till it is golden brown.
