Creamy Spinach Soup



Creamy spinach soup - (palak soup) is very rich in calorific value. This preparation is not very spicy.



Ingredients we will require to make this soup are:

Spinach leaves (palak patta) : . . . . . . 12 to 15

Onion (pyaj) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . one

Black pepper powder (kali mirchi) : 1 tea spoon

Curry leaves (kadi patta) : . . . . . . . . . . 6 to 8

Refined flour (maida) : . . . . . . . 2 table spoon

Milk (dudh) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 1/2 cup

Fresh cream (malai) : . . . . . . . 2 table spoon

Butter (makkhan) : . . . . . . . . . . . . 50 grams

Salt (namak) as per your taste

Wash spinach leaves and remove thick stem. Boil it in water for five to seven minutes. Grind it to make a paste.

Heat butter in a deep frying pan and fry very finely chopped onion till it is just transparent. Add curry leaves and fry for a minute. Add milk and refined flour and mix it well. Add black pepper powder and cook it for five minutes. Now add spinach paste, salt and one cup of water and cook it on slow flame for another five to seven minutes.

Pour spinach soup in a bowl and add fresh cream at the time of serve.
