Broccoli Balls





Broccoli balls or broccoli pakoda is a fried dish. This preparation is very spicy, so reduce the quantity of chilies as per your taste.

Ingredients we will need to make this dish:

Broccoli : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . one

Onion (pyaj) : . . . . . . . . . . . . (small) one

Ginger paste (adrak) : . . . . . . 1 tea spoon

Green chilies (hari mirchi) : . . . . . . . 2 to 3

Red chili powder (lal mirchi) : 1 tea spoon

Pepper powder (kali mirchi) : 1/2 tea spoon

Turmeric powder (haldi) : . . 1/2 tea spoon

Bengal gram flour (besan) : . . 4 table spoon

Corn flour (makai ka atta) : . . 2 table spoon

Baking soda : . . . . . . . . . . . 1/4 tea spoon

Oil (tel) : for deep frying

Coriander leaves (hara dhania)

Salt (namak) as per your taste

Chop broccoli and add very finely chopped onion and green chilies. Mix ginger paste, red chili powder, pepper powder, turmeric powder, bengal gram flour, corn flour, baking soda and salt. Add chopped coriander leaves and little water and make a thick paste. Keep it for fifteen to twenty minutes.

Make small balls and deep fry in oil till it is golden brown. Serve broccoli balls with green chutney.
