Tutti frutti Cake



Tutti frutti cake is rich in calories and can be a good breakfast or mid day break snack. This cake is generally not decorated.

Ingredients we will require to make this cake:

All purpose flour (maida) : . . . . . . 2 cups

Brown sugar (shakkar) : . . . . . . . 1 cup

Eggs (ande) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . three

Oil (tel) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1/2 cup

Honey (shahad) : . . . . . . . . 2 table spoon

Baking powder : . . . . . . . . . 1/2 tea spoon

Baking soda : . . . . . . . . . . 1/2 tea spoon

Butter milk (chhas) : 1/2 cup (or as required)

Tutti frutti : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1/2 cup

Dry fruits : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1/2 cup

Cinnamon powder (dalchini) : 1/2 tea spoon

Salt (namak) : . . . . . . . . 1/4 tea spoon

Sieve refined flour and add brown sugar, eggs, honey, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder and salt. Mix it thoroughly and then add oil. Mix again. Add required amount of butter milk to form a smooth consistency. Mix tutti frutti and dry fruits (walnut, cashew nut, raisin, almond etc).

Pre-heat oven to 180 degree C. Apply little oil with brush on wall of cake pan and pour this mixture in it. Bake this tutti frutti cake for thirty minutes (or as per your oven capacity), till the cake is done. Pierce fork to check whether the cake is cooked. The fork should come out clean.
