Prawn Koliwada





Prawn koliwada is a prawn dish, fried with flour batter. This dish can be served as a starter or can be taken as a main dish.

Ingredients we will need to make this dish:

Medium size prawns (jhinga) : . . . . . . 500 grams

Ginger garlic paste (adrak lasoon) : 2 table spoon

Red chili powder (lal mirchi) : . . . . . . 2 tea spoon

Garam masala powder : . . . . . . . . 1/2 tea spoon

Baking powder : . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1/4 tea spoon

Lemon juice (nimboo) : . . . . . . . . 1 table spoon

Flour (atta) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2 table spoon

Oil (tel) for deep frying

Salt (namak) as per your taste

Remove shell and de-vein prawns. Marinate it with ginger garlic past, one tea spoon red chili powder, garam masala powder, lemon juice and salt for fifteen minutes.

Prepare a smooth batter with flour, one tea spoon red chili powder, baking powder and little salt. Add marinated prawns and mix it well.

Heat oil in a wok and deep fry prawns one by one. Fry till a crisp golden brown layer. Enjoy prawns with green chutney.
