Mutton Fry





Mutton fry is mutton dish with thick gravy. It is less in calories. It is a spicy dish and reduce the quantity of chilies to make it less hot.

Ingredients we will require to make this recipe:

Mutton : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 500 grams

Onions (pyaj) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2 to 3

Ginger garlic paste (adrak lasoon) : . . . 1 table spoon

Green chili paste (hari mirchi) : . . . . . . . 1 tea spoon

Garlic (lasoon) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 8 to 10

Red chili powder (lal mirchi) : . . . . . . . . 1 tea spoon

Coriander cumin powder (dhania jeera) : 2 table spoon

Cumin seed (jeera) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 tea spoon

Turmeric powder (haldi) : . . . . . . . . . . 1/2 tea spoon

Oil (tel) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2 to 3 table spoon

Coriander leaves (hara dhania)

Mint leaves (pudina)

Salt (namak) as per your taste

Marinate mutton with ginger, garlic, green chili, turmeric powder, coriander cumin powder and salt for one hour. Add one cup of water and pressure cook it for ten to fifteen minutes.

Heat oil in a small pan (vagharia) and fry finely chopped onion and cumin seed for two minutes. Add finely chopped garlic and red chili powder and fry till garlic is just golden. Transfer this temper in cooked mutton and cook it on slow flame till thick gravy is formed. Add coriander and mint leaves to mutton fry while serving.
