Keema Fry



Keema fry is prepared from minced mutton. This preparation is rich and spicy. Add potatoes, if you want but they are optional.

Ingredients you will require to make this recipe:

Minced mutton (keema) : . . . . 500 grams

Potatoes (aloo) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . two

Onion (pyaj) : . . . . . . . . . . . one or two

Tomato (tamater) : . . . . . . . . . . . . one

Ginger paste (adrak) : . . 3/4 table spoon

Garlic paste (lasoon) : . . 3/4 table spoon

Green chilies (hari mirchi) : two or three

Red chili powder (lal mirchi) : 1 tea spoon

Black pepper corn (kali mirchi) : . . 5 to 7

Coriander powder (dhania) : 1 table spoon

Cumin powder (jeera) : . . . 1 table spoon

Turmeric powder (haldi) : . 1/2 tea spoon

Garam masala powder : . . 1/2 tea spoon

Curry leaves (kadi patta) : . . . . . . 5 to 7

Oil (tel) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2/3 cup

Coriander leaves (hara dhania)

Lemon (nimbu)

Salt (namak) as per your taste

Peel and cut potatoes. Heat oil in a top and add finely chopped onion. Fry till just transparent and then add ginger garlic paste, long cut green chilies, black pepper and curry leaves.

Fry it for a minute and add chopped tomatoes. Saute it and add red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder and garam masala powder. Fry for half a minute and then add mince. Add salt and cook it for ten minutes. Add potatoes and little water and cook keema fry till it is done.

Garnish keema fry with coriander leaves. Add lemon juice while serve.
