Italian Pasta Soup



Italian pasta soup is an Italian soup recipe. This soup is made with beans. The preparation has a good nutrition value and it is not very spicy.



Ingredients we will need to make this soup:

Tiny tubular pasta : . . . . . . . . 1 1/2 cup

Carrot (gajar) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . one

Onion (pyaj) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . one

Garlic paste (lasoon) : . . . . . . 1/2 tea spoon

Ginger paste (adrak) : . . . . . . 1/2 tea spoon

Oil (tel) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2 table spoon

Bean stock : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 6 cups

Bay leaves (tej patta) : . . . . . . . . . . . . two

Italian herb mix : . . . . . . . . . . . . 2 tea spoon

Black pepper powder (kali mirchi) : 1 tea spoon

Zucchini : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1/4 stick

Tomato sauce : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1/4 cup

Corn flour (makke ka aata) : . . 1 table spoon

Parsley for garnishing

Salt (namak) as per your taste

Method of making Italian pasta soup

Soak beans in water for eight to ten hours or over night. Remove soaking water and add seven to eight cups of water, ginger paste and salt. Boil it till beans are done. Remove stock and keep it aside.

Heat oil in a wok and fry finely chopped onion till it is just transparent. Add garlic paste, diced carrot, and chopped celery and fry for two minutes. Add beans, chopped zucchini, bay leaves, herb mix, tomato sauce and little salt. (bean stock already contains salt) Mix it well and fry for a minute. Add bean stock and corn flour. (mixed in little water)

Boil it till zucchini is tender. Add pepper powder while boiling.

In a separate pan, cook pasta and rinse it in cold water. Add pasta to soup and garnish Italian pasta soup with chopped parsley.
