Egg Roll





Egg roll can be taken as a stater or a mid day break snack. This dish is not spicy or hot, but it is slightly sweet in taste.

Ingredients you will require to make this dish:

Eggs (ande) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . four

Egg noodle : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 1/2 cup

Carrot (gajar) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . one

Cabbage (patta gobi) : . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 cup

Garlic (lasoon) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2 flake

Tomato sauce : . . . . . . . . . . . 4 table spoon

Soy sauce : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2 table spoon

Corn flour (makai ka atta) : . . . 1 table spoon

Vinegar : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2 table spoon

Sugar (shakkar) : . . . . . . . . . . 1 table spoon

Vegetable or chicken stock : . . . . . 1/2 cup

Black pepper powder (kali mirchi) 1 tea spoon

Oil for frying

Salt (namak) as per your taste

Method of making egg roll

Grate carrot and cabbage. Stir fry cabbage. Boil egg noodles in water for about ten minutes and then drain the water and fry noodles to make it crispy.

Mix carrot, cabbage and noodles. Add little salt.

Make sauce by heating little oil. Add crushed garlic and fry for a minute. Add tomato sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, black pepper powder, vegetable or chicken stock and little salt. Cook for one minute and then add corn flour (mixed in little water). Cook till the sauce thickens.

Beat eggs and add little salt. Make four to five omelettes. Place carrot, cabbage, noodle mix on one side of the omelette and make a roll. Insert a tooth pick to hold the roll. Place rolls in a serving plate and pour sauce on it. Cut egg roll in pieces before serve.
