Egg Pudding





Egg pudding is a popular sweet dish, which is also enjoyed during mid day break. The preparation is full of carbohydrates and sugar, with added protein from milk and eggs.

Ingredients you will require to make this dish :

Eggs (ande) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . six

Milk (dudh) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 3/4 liter

Butter (makkhan) : . . . . . . . . . . . . 1/4 cup

Sugar (shakkar) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1/2 cup

Custard powder : . . . . . . . . . 1 table spoon

Glucose biscuits : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . four

Cardamom powder (elaichi) : 1/2 tea spoon

Take milk in a mixing bowl and add sugar, butter, custard powder, cardamom powder and glucose biscuits. Heat it slightly so that butter melts and sugar is dissolved. Let it cool down.

Now beat eggs and add it to milk. Mix it thoroughly.Take a broad pan and put a table spoon of sugar in it. Heat the pan on slow flame so that sugar melts and is caramelized. Pour milk mixture on it very slowly. Take a larger pan and pour water in it. Place the mixture pan in it and cook it for thirty to forty minutes till egg pudding is done.
