Cream of Vegetable Soup



Cream of vegetable soup is rich with nutrition. This preparation is not very spicy so adjust the quantity of pepper and chilies as per your taste.



Ingredients you will require to make this soup :

Carrot (gajar) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . two

Potato (aaloo) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . one

Capsicum (shimla mirchi) : . . . . . . . . . . half

Peas (matar) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1/3 cup

Onion (pyaj) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . one

Green chili (hari mirchi) : . . . . . . . . . . one

Pepper powder (kali mirchi) : 1/2 tea spoon

Butter (makkhan) : . . . . 2 to 3 table spoon

Refined flour (maida) : . . . . . 1 table spoon

Milk (dudh) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 3 cup

Coriander leaves (hara dhania)

Salt (namak) as per your taste

Cut carrots, potato, capsicum and green chili in small pieces. Add peas and boil it in water for five to seven minutes till vegetables are soft. Mash boiled vegetables with back of a ladle.

Heat butter in a pan and fry very finely chopped onion till it is transparent. Add milk and refined flour and cook for five minutes. Add boiled vegetables, pepper powder and salt. Cook it on slow flame for five to seven minutes.

Garnish Cream of vegetable soup with coriander leaves.
