Chocolate Cake Recipe



This chocolate cake recipe is very easy to make. It is a rich preparation with high calorific value.

Ingredients you will require :

All purpose flour (maida) : . . . . 2 cup

Unsweetened cocoa : . . . . . . . . 1 cup

Sugar powder (shakkar) : . . . . . . 2 cup

Baking soda : . . . . . . . . . . 2 tea spoon

Baking powder : . . . . . . . . 2 tea spoon

Milk : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 cup

Vegetable oil or butter : . . . . . . 3/4 cup

Eggs : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 3

Vanilla essence : . . . . . . . 1 tea spoon

Salt (namak) : . . . . . . . . 1/2 tea spoon

Sieve flour and sugar. Prepare flour mix with sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Beat egg and mix it with milk, oil (or melted butter) and vanilla essence. Pour this mixture in flour mix and mix it till it forms a smooth consistency.

Brush oil or butter on the wall and bottom of a cake pan and sprinkle some flour on it. Pour the mixture and bake it for thirty to forty minutes at 180 degree C (or as per your oven capacity). Insert a toothpick to check for cooking. It should come out clean.

You can decorate this chocolate cake recipe with chocolate chips or flakes.
