Chili Prawns





This is a spicy recipe of chili prawns, which is prepared from three type of chilies. This dish can be taken as a starter, or it can be enjoyed with chapati, butter roti or steamed rice.

You may reduce the quantity of chilies according to your taste but you will enjoy this spicy dish.

Ingredients you will need to make this dish:

Prawns (jhinga) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . 250 grams

Onion (pyaj) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 3 to 4

Garlic (lasoon) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 20 to 25

Green chili (hari mirchi) : . . . . . . . . . . . 3 to 4

Red chili flacks (lal mirchi) : . . . . . 1 tea spoon

Black pepper powder (kali mirchi) : 1 tea spoon

Olive oil (tel) : . . . . . . . . . . 2 to 3 table spoon

Sugar (shakkar) : . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 tea spoon

Corn flour (makai ka aata) : . . . . 1 table spoon

Coriander leaves (hara dhania)

Salt (namak) as per your taste

De-vein and remove shell from prawns.

Take oil in wok and stir fry whole garlic and thick and big pieces of onion for five to seven minutes. Add long cut green chilies, red chili flakes and black pepper powder and salt. Mix it well and cook it for a minute or two. Add prawns and stir fry it for two to three minutes. Add sugar and corn flour (mixed in half a cup of water) Do not over cook prawns.

Garnish chili prawns with coriander leaves.
