Cauliflower Soup



Cauliflower soup is rich with nutrition value. This preparation is not very spicy so adjust the quantity of pepper and chilies as per your taste.



Ingredients you will require to make this soup :

Cauliflower (phool gobi) : . . . . 200 grams

Peas (matar) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1/4 cup

Onion (pyaj) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . two

Green chili (hari mirchi) : . . . . . . . . . one

Pepper powder (kali mirchi) : 1 tea spoon

Turmeric powder (haldi) : . . 1/4 tea spoon

Butter (makkhan) : . . . 2 to 3 table spoon

Corn flour (makke ka aata) : 2 table spoon

Cinnamon powder (dalchini) : 1 tea spoon

Milk (dudh) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 3 cup

Coriander leaves or chopped parsley

Salt (namak) as per your taste

Boil cauliflower in water with salt and turmeric powder. Boil peas with salt. Grind boiled cauliflower and peas to make a smooth paste.

Heat butter in a vessel and fry finely chopped onion till it is just transparent. Add long cut green chili and cinnamon powder and saute for a minute. Add cauliflower paste and corn flour (mixed in little water) and cook for two to three minutes. Add milk and season it with pepper powder and required amount of salt. (salt is already added while boiling cauliflower and peas)

Garnish cauliflower soup with coriander leaves or parsley.
