Anda Pakoda





Anda pakoda or egg balls as a snack is full of protein, carbohydrates and fat. It can be a starter or a part of other preparation. It is a spicy dish and if you prefer a less spicy dish, reduce the quantity of chilies.

Ingredients we will require to make this dish:

Eggs (ande) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . six

Bengal gram flour : . . . . . . . 2 table spoon

Spring onion (hari pyaj) : . . . . . . . . . three

Green chilies (hari mirchi) : . . . . . . . 2 or 3

Ginger (adrak) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 inch

Red chili powder (lal mirchi) : 1 tea spoon

Oregano (ajwain) : . . . . . . . 1/2 tea spoon

Chat masala : . . . . . . . . . . 1/2 tea spoon

Baking soda : . . . . . . . . . . 1/2 tea spoon

Coriander leaves (hara dhania)

Oil (tel) for deep fry

Salt (namak) as per your taste

Boil eggs in water. Grate it and add bengal gram flour. Add chopped spring onions, very finely chopped green chilies, finely long cut ginger, red chili powder, oregano, chat masala, baking soda, finely chopped coriander leaves and salt. Add warm water and mix it to make a thick paste. Make balls of about one inch and deep fry in oil till golden brown.
